About BeeFinder

BeeFinder is a free, US-only directory built to help new beekeepers find live bees — nucs, queens, and packages — from real suppliers in their state.

Buying your first bees shouldn't mean two hours of Googling forum threads from 2013. We pull from state apiary registries, established trade publications, and community submissions, then organize it by state so you can find a seller in 30 seconds.

Who runs it

BeeFinder is a small independent project. We don't sell bees, equipment, or ads. The goal is a clean public utility for the hobby — like a phone book that doesn't fight you.

Quarterly verification

Every supplier listing has a last verified date. We commit to refreshing the directory every quarter — phone numbers, websites, seasonal availability — so what you see is current. Suppliers can also claim and maintain their own listings for free.

Trust tiers

• Verified — Cross-referenced against a state apiary registry.
• Listed — Basic checks passed (website live, contact reachable).
• Community — User-submitted; verify before ordering.
